Samsung Exynos 2200 Phone list

The south korea tech giant has announced its in-house Exynos 2200 SoC. It is a top-of-the-line chipset that runs on 4mm process technology. Recently Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S22 lineup based on Exynos 2200 chipset. In the coming times, we can see more flagship devices with this processor. According to company, The Exynos 2200 is the first system-on-a-chip to featured an AMD RDNA 2 graphics architecture with Samsung’s Xclipse graphics.

The CPU integrates three clusters of premium processor cores with different architectures. it includes one Arm Cortex-X2 performance-core, another three efficiency balanced ARM Cortex-A710 cores. In addition, the four small and power efficient Cortex-A510 cores in the 3rd cluster. As we mentioned above, Exynos 2200 is equipped more advance Xclipse 920 GPU along With the high-performance AMD RDNA 2 architecture, Its highlight is also its graphics unit as it is the first to have presence on mobile platform with AMD.

Exynos 2200 vs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chipset : here know everything

Samsung has recently unveiled its Exynos 2200 chipset, it is a processor running on 4mm technology which is designed keeping in mind the premium Galaxy smartphone, also a few months ago Qualcomm launched its flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Which we will be able to see in almost all flagship phones of the year 2022. Both these CPU generate a fight in which both are built on 4mm technology, the performance of both is very good, there is not much difference between the two. In this article, we will know the comparison of these processors and their specification in detail.

First look at Samsung’s Exynos 2200, the chipset integrates three clusters of processor cores with different architectures. it includes one flagship Arm Cortex-X2 core, that deliver top performance, another four power efficient ARM Cortex-A510 cores, and three efficiency balanced ARM Cortex-A710 cores in the 3rd cluster. All of these ARM cores are based on the latest Armv9 architecture. Now comes to the second SoC the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC has ARM CPU cores in the 1+3+4 arrangement, this chip has one performance core based on ARM Cortex-X2 which clocked at up to 3GHz, three efficiency balanced cores based on ARM Cortex-A710 which clocked at 2.5GHz, and ultimately, four energy saving cores based on ARM Cortex-A510 clocked at 1.8GHz.

The second main part is related to the graphics performance, now let’s see their GPU here. Talking about other specifications, 200 megapixel camera has been supported in both. Here the video recording in the Exynos 2200 can be shot at 60 frames per second in 8K resolution, while the snapdragon can record 8K video at 30 frames per second. Both processors support 5G connectivity, but the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has a maximum downloading speed of 10GB per second, while the Samsung’s Exynos has a maximum downloading speed of 7.35GB per second.

Samsung unveils Exynos 2200 with AMD GPU, here Know specifications

Samsung has announced its in-house Exynos 2200 chipset. It is a flagship SoC that runs on 4mm technology, which we can see in premium phones of Samsung Galaxy in the times to come. According to company, The Exynos 2200 is the first system-on-a-chip to equipped an AMD RDNA 2 graphics architecture along with Samsung’s Xclipse graphics.

All of the cores are based on the newest Armv9 architecture.

As already mentioned, the SoC based on 4nm EUV process technology and process combined with improved Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and GPU technologies. it has more advance Xclipse 920 GPU With the high-performance AMD RDNA 2 architecture as its backbone, making its first appearance on a mobile chipset, AMD’s RDNA 2 custom graphics will enable ray-tracing and variable rate shading on Exynos 2200. The AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture enables this SoC to offer Laptop, PC and console-level graphics performance on smartphone.

On the camera front, Exynos 2200’s has a redesigned ISP (image signal processor), it now supports the latest image sensor of up to 200MP. its ISP supports up to 108-MP in single camera, and 64-MP + 36-MP in dual camera. in video recording Capability, it can shoot 8K video at 60fps or 4K UHD at 240fps.

However, It equipped an Exynos 5G Modem supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave.  It also supports E-UTRAN New Radio-Dual connectivity which allows to use both 4G LTE and 5G NR signals and enables a maximum downlink speed of up to 10Gbps in EN-DC mode.
